A covered patio can take the same system as a garage when the slab is sound and the exposure is shade most of the day. We grind, repair, and coat in epoxy or polyaspartic, flake or metallic, then seal with an aliphatic topcoat that does not yellow.
An open drive, a pool deck, or a slab in full Arizona sun is a different job. We will say so rather than coat a surface the system is wrong for. Control joints stay open so the slab can move where it was designed to move.
Pricing follows the same ranges. Flake is typically $8 to $10 per square foot. Metallic is typically $12 to $16. The written number follows moisture and crack repair.
